There are two designs of the 3Xx2 AC motor. Both the AC34X2 and AC35X2 are designed for automotive applications (up to 3500 lbs), but can be used in many applications. The motor design provides for two rotors on one common shaft. The frame of this motor includes two stators, which, in combination with the rotor shaft and other parts, form a really nice motor unit. The motor will have about twice the torque and horsepower of the single AC-34 and AC-35 motor now. An ideal application for these engines:
- Automotive industry
- Ground vehicles
They can be paired with any of the following Curtis motor controllers:
- 1238E-7621 (72-126V, 650A)
- 1239E-8521 (96-170V, 500A)
These motors are supplied with a NEMA B-Face with **1 1/8" shaft.
